Quality Control for LED Diffusers
How optical extrusion profiles are checked from incoming resin to packed pallet.
Quality
Control points that matter in extrusion
Extrusion is a continuous process, so quality control is about holding parameters steady rather than sorting good parts from bad at the end. Our quality management system is certified to ISO 9001:2015, and the checks below are the ones that actually decide whether a batch is released.
Checks
Inspection stages
Incoming resin
Material identification and batch traceability before production.
First-piece approval
The first length is checked against the approved sample or drawing and signed off.
In-process dimensions
Profile width, height and wall thickness measured during the run.
Optical verification
Transmission and diffusion consistency checked on optical grades.
Appearance
Surface and colour inspected under standard lighting conditions.
Pre-packing inspection
Final dimensional and appearance check before packing and palletising.
Consistency
Holding the approved sample
The approved sample or drawing is the reference for every production batch.
- Retained reference sample for each profile
- Batch records linking resin, line and shift to the finished pallet
- Corrective action procedure for deviations found in process
- Protective film and packing specified to protect gloss and clear surfaces
