Industrial fixtures get hit, washed and heated. Polycarbonate is the usual answer: very high impact strength and a higher continuous service temperature than PMMA. UV-stabilised and flame-retardant compounds can be specified where the installation demands it.

Is PC always the right choice for industrial fixtures?
Usually, but not always. If clarity and UV stability matter more than impact, a UV-stabilised PMMA grade may be better. We will compare both against your requirement.
